The Alley House

Amreen was unimpressed with the house the broker showed. The entrance was narrow and the bedroom window was accessible from the alley. She said to the broker ‘I don’t like this one. Show me some more houses.’

The broker said ‘This is the best house Madaam.’

Just then, Amreen saw Afroz coming down the alley. The broker saw Amreen staring at Afroz, from the sparkle in her eyes he understood.

He said naughtily ‘This man passes through this alley at least ten times a day. He lives just two houses away’. Amreen made up her mind. This was the house.
